Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday, January 12th for our monthly club. We made two cards, one 6"x6" and one 4-1/4"x5-1/2", using the Sonata paper pack.
We used the Simple Blossoms and the Curly Greetings stamp sets on the 6"x6" card. Liquid Glass accented the flower (giving it a "dew" look) and chocolate organdy ribbon embellished the side of the card.
On the 4-1/4"x5-1/2" card, a technique used to distress and antique the paper gave the card an interesting texture. We placed a patterned paper (part of the Sonata set) behind one of the new Floral Dimensional Elements and topped it off with a Chocolate Bigger Brad. And, again, we adorned the card with Chocolate Organdy Ribbon.

I’ve been using CTMH for 10 years and have grown in both my ability and love for scrapbooking and stamping. I love this hobby because I can preserve memories that I’ll be able to pass down to my future children. I also love to create personalized cards to let others know I am thinking of them.
I have been using Close to My Heart’s products since 2001--ever since I started scrapbooking. I love their products and I always enjoy learning and teaching new techniques. Our gatherings have not only increased my passion for scrapbooking, but has also strengthened friendships. As a new a mom, I look forward to preserving the precious moments I have with my baby boy.
